At Hoboken Middle School, everyone is welcomed into a positive and supportive atmosphere that makes learning and growing enjoyable. As a student-athlete, I appreciate the balanced lifestyle I can cultivate here. Being a student challenges my mind, while being an athlete keeps my body active, helping me avoid focusing too much on just one aspect of my life. Knowing that I have sports activities waiting for me after school keeps me motivated and focused in class. It’s easier to work hard during the school day because I know there’s something active and engaging to look forward to afterward.
The recent addition of a sports program has only enhanced our school spirit. Hearing about the results of games on the morning announcements brings excitement, as I can congratulate my classmates and share in their pride and sense of accomplishment. But sports aren’t the only exciting thing happening at Hoboken Middle School. The teachers here go above and beyond—they’re genuinely kind, supportive, and always ready to help when I struggle or push me further when I excel. Even students who may not naturally enjoy learning find themselves drawn in because our teachers make learning fun and interactive, using creative activities and projects to keep us engaged.
For any rising sixth-grade student, I wholeheartedly believe that Hoboken Middle School is a fantastic place to grow, learn, and thrive. My experience over the past three years has been nothing short of amazing. I've learned so much and built many wonderful friendships along the way, making this school feel like a second home.
