Hoboken, NJ, —July 7, 2026 The Hoboken Public School District proudly honors the achievements of the Hoboken High School Class of 2026, a distinguished group of 136 graduates whose accomplishments reflect the district’s mission to prepare students for success in college, careers, military_service, and lifelong learning.
A Diverse and Accomplished Graduating Class
Members of the Class of 2026 will pursue a wide range of post-secondary pathways aligned with their individual goals and aspirations:
- Four‑Year Colleges & Universities — 97 students (71%), including one student appointed to the United States Naval Academy.
- Two‑Year Colleges — 13 students (10%).
- Trade & Technical Programs — 18 students (13%).
- Workforce Entry — 7 students (5%).
- Military Enlistment — 1 student (1%).
Collectively, the Class of 2026 earned admission to more than 180 colleges and universities across the United States and internationally, securing over $24 million in merit scholarships and $75,000 in local awards. Acceptances include Ivy League institutions, nationally ranked research universities, premier liberal arts colleges, flagship public universities, internationally recognized institutions, and respected career and technical programs.
Graduates will attend schools in New Jersey, more than 20 states, Canada, and the United Kingdom, demonstrating both strong academic preparation and a willingness to pursue opportunities across the globe.
Commitment to Career & Technical Education
The Class of 2026 also showed exceptional interest in career and technical education. Students will continue their training through programs such as:
- Universal Technical Institute
- Lincoln Technical Institute
- Eastwick College
- Hudson County Schools of Technology
These programs prepare students for high‑demand fields and provide industry‑aligned skills that support long‑term career success.
In‑State and Out‑of‑State Destinations
Of the 110 graduates attending two‑ or four‑year institutions:
- 63 students (57%) will attend college in New Jersey.
- 47 students (43%) will attend out‑of‑state institutions.
This balance highlights both the strength of New Jersey’s higher education system and the ambition of Hoboken High School graduates to explore opportunities nationwide.
