HHS Concert Choir

The high school chorus has both a choral class as well as after school rehearsals. Students learn how to sing in an ensemble and work on concepts like 2 and 3 part harmony, solfege syllables and how that applies to music notation, and explore different genres/styles of music; even diving into different languages and cultures. All students involved are part of the winter and spring concerts that happen annually. In addition to the school concerts, students compete in the Hudson County Teen Arts Festival in the spring as well as perform in several community events throughout the year like the Tree Lighting Ceremony in downtown Hoboken.
