School Based Youth Services

MISSION:  The mission of the SBYSP Student Center at Hoboken High School is to provide an array of social services to our students in a warm, supportive, and professional environment. 

GOAL:  The goal of the SBYSP is to promote health, safety, and well-being by partnering with children, youth, families, and communities to ensure a responsive and effective network of family support, education awareness, and advocacy.

The School Based Youth Services Program (SBYSP) is funded by the New Jersey Department of Children and Families (DCF) Division of Prevention and Community Partnerships, with an in-kind contribution from the Hoboken Public Schools.

Who can access our services?
The Hoboken High School SBYSP is available to all students enrolled in high school and their families who have filled out the enrollment form.

What is the cost?
All services are free of charge.

Where is the SBYSP Located?
Hoboken High School – Game Room, Student Lounge and Zen Den.

What services are provided?
The SBYSP provides a full range of services and a chance to get involved, get advice, and get help wherever needed.  The following are offered:  academic support, counseling, employment development, referrals, and various workshops for 9th-12th grade.
