Overview

The Hoboken Public Schools provide a continuum of Special Education Services for students ages 3 to 21 who are eligible for Special Education and Related Services. By implementing a system of support, Administration, Teachers, Child Study Team Members, and Related Services Staff ensure that students receive educational benefits in the Least Restrictive Environment (LRE).

In addition, we provide a coordinated system of Special Education and Related Services for students with disabilities designed to meet the students individual needs and increase opportunities for student achievement and success.

Each student's Individualized Education Plan (IEP) is developed to meet the unique needs of the student and to provide a Free and Appropriate Public Education (FAPE).

Special Education Program options include:
  • In-Class Resource and Supplementary Instruction
  • Pull-out Support
