Sessions take place Wednesday evenings at 5:30 p.m., with facilitated group discussions led by New Jersey Medical School students where lecture topics will be reviewed and discussed.. Formal lectures given by the New Jersey Medical School faculty will begin promptly at 6:30 p.m, with the evening ending at approximately 8:45 p.m.
Students are also encouraged to enroll in elective courses involving basic life support given on selected weekends. Students may also enroll in a 2 hour medical librarianship course as well. Finally, a didactic lecture on Cardio-Pulmonary Physiology and a live EKG demonstration are offered in order to complement the principles discussed in the Basic Life Support course.
