Each year students at Hoboken High School enroll in Advanced Placement Courses. These courses enable high school students to take college-level coursework developed by The College Board. This past school year, Hoboken High School offered fourteen (14) Advanced Placement courses. In ten (10) out of the fourteen (14) courses, including the prestigious Capstone Research and Seminar courses, Hoboken High School Students outperformed the Global Average. Since 2015, Hoboken High School has more than tripled the percentage of 3+ scores on the College Board Exams, and since 2012 enrollment in Advanced Placement courses has more than doubled. In 2023, Hoboken High School earned forty-one (41) AP Awards in total, including thirty (30) AP Scholar Awards and those with Distinction and Honors, along with four (4) AP Seminar and Research Certificates and seven (7) AP Capstone Diplomas.
